Atoris to lek stosowany w leczeniu chorób układu sercowo-naczyniowego, takich jak miażdżyca i zawał mięśnia sercowego. Lek zawiera atorwastatynę – substancję czynną w postaci chlorowodorku. Działanie tego leku polega na zmniejszeniu stężenia cholesterolu całkowitego, trójglicerydów i lipoprotein (lipoprotein o niskiej gęstości, a także cholesterolu o wysokiej gęstości). Atorwastatyna działa poprzez blokowanie enzymów produkujących cholesterol w wątrobie, co pomaga zmniejszyć poziom cholesterolu we krwi.

Atoris powinien być przyjmowany doustnie, do 1 razu na dobę, during or after a meal. Dose Atoris zależy od wieku, stanu zdrowia i leczenia. Dawki zazwyczaj ustala lekarz prowadzący, dlatego przed włączeniem leku należy skonsultować się z lekarzem.
