I took the drug around 8 year.
At the age of approx 21 For years, I applied to a psychiatrist because of severe depression, tearfulness and fatigue. I was diagnosed with endogenous depression.
The first week was hard, you had to endure symptoms such as severe anxiety, severity of depression,gastrological disorders ( abdominal pains,diarrhea),headache. There may be temporary euphoria and a feeling of unreasonable happiness. ( These are, by the way, so many pleasant sensations) .
The following weeks reduce the strength of the side effects and the first therapeutic effects appear, i.e.. mood improvement, normalization of sleep, appetite.
After approximately 2-3 over the years of taking the drug, the effects gradually began to diminish, mood deterioration however I was able to function normally.
After approximately 6 years, I find the complete disappearance of the therapeutic effect, Attempts to increase the dose resulted in an improvement of several weeks at most(little).
I decided to switch to another drug from the SSRI group. I tried all drugs in this group(fluoxetine,fluvoxamine,citalopram,escitalopram,paroxetine).
I returned to Asertin after a few months because the healing effects also gradually began to diminish on other drugs.
I decided to discontinue the drug gradually. I took the pill every other day, then after a few weeks of co 3 a day later for a few days every 4 day. One week after the last dose, the depression returned several times over, general mental breakdown and suicidal thoughts. After many years of treatment, I am a human wreck, who fights for each day. If someone is taking antidepressants, he needs to be aware, that they are not drugs for chronic use. Maximally 1 year and should be gradually reduced. These drugs are highly addictive! However, all sources have named it “withdrawal syndrome”.

I've been taking this drug for almost a year now, I started with a dose 50 mg per day, but a side effect was extreme sleepiness, My eyes kept closing by themselves, and that from the very morning.
